Your responsibilities
As an SEA Specialist, you are the driving force behind our clients' paid search campaigns. Your expertise in setting up, implementing and optimising Google Ads campaigns is at the core of your role. Our AI technology takes that expertise to a level you would never reach in a traditional role. The result: you get more out of SEA than you ever thought possible - and our clients reap the benefits directly.
You are the go-to person for everything related to paid visibility, but also a pioneer: how do you leverage AI and automation to make campaigns faster, smarter and more effective? An affinity with SEO is a major advantage - at WP SEO AI, SEA and SEO work closely together, and that combined perspective makes your advice even more valuable to clients.
What you'll be doing
SEA (primary): Independently setting up, implementing and managing Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display and Shopping), from strategy and structure to ad copy, bidding strategies and budget management
Campaign optimisation: Continuously analysing and improving CTR, CPA, ROAS and conversions - and translating those insights into concrete adjustments
Keyword research & targeting: Conducting thorough keyword research and developing audience strategies aligned with client objectives
Analytics: Measuring and reporting results via GA4, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads, and communicating findings clearly to clients
SEO (supporting): Contributing ideas on on-page optimisations, technical SEO challenges and the connection between paid and organic traffic
Advice & education: Bringing clients and colleagues up to speed on what lies behind the numbers and keeping them informed about new developments in search

Requirements
At least 2 years of demonstrable experience setting up and implementing SEA campaigns in Google Ads
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven way of working
Experience with keyword research, campaign structures, A/B testing and bidding strategies
Affinity with or knowledge of SEO (technical and/or on-page) is a clear advantage
Up to date with the latest developments around GEO and the impact of AI on search
Client-focused, strong communicator and able to explain complex matters clearly
Fluent in Dutch and English; German is a plus
Knowledge of WordPress (Yoast, Rank Math, WP Rocket) is a plus
Available for 32 or 40 hours per week
